Mesotherapy for hair loss and hair thinning
Mesotherapy is a non-invasive technique based on superficial microinjections, just below the epidermis, into the target tissues. The solution injected can contain a wide range of minerals, vitamins, amino acids, nucleic acids and co-enzymes that can be tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Biotin for Hair Loss
Most forms of hair loss are caused by hormone imbalances in and around the hair follicle, a lack of the right nutrients or reduced blood circulation.
Hair mesotherapy is as effective or even more effective than tablets in hair rejuvenation and restoration. The technique used delivers the right materials to the exact place where it is needed (around the hair follicle) so that:
- the hair follicle can grow and survive,
- the excess of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is neutralised and
- the blood circulation is stimulated.
Mesotherapy for hair loss is an effective time-release delivery system of injected solution improves blood circulation, reduces inflammation, neutralizes excess DHT, stimulates collagen, increases follicle size to stop hair loss and stimulates hair growth.
The treatment is performed by doctor or nurse and takes between 10 and 30 minutes depending on the extension of the area being treated.
Usually a minimum of 6-10 sessions is required to stimulate hair growth with an intensive course of treatments every 2 weeks for the first 2-3 months. The frequency then gradually decreases and the results of hair rejuvenation become evident already after 2-3 months. In order to keep the results maintenance treatments are needed generally once every 2 to 3 months.
