Crystal PDRN

PDRN or polynucleotides has tissue repairing, anti-ischemic, and anti-inflammatory properties which make its use applicable in regenerative medicine.

Crystal Hydro PDRN combination of PDRN and Hyaluronic Acid is the most powerful anti-aging solution which supplements moisture, improving skin tone and elasticity, and our preferred product at Aestha Clinic for the treatment of tear trough.

How does PDRN work?

PDRN is a naturally-occurring building block in your DNA that helps to repair damaged skin cells and stimulate collagen production.

PDRNs are thought to mediate their effects primarily through an increase in the metabolic activity of fibroblasts, which stimulate the secretion of collagen proteins and control the renewal of various dermal components. PDRNs contribute to the regeneration of several key autologous components of the skin, such as glycosaminoglycans, proteins, glycoproteins, and fibrils, which help to maintain physiological function.

In a comparison study with HA fillers, PN fillers showed greater increases in skin elasticity and collagen synthesis followed by fibroblast stimulation compared to HA filler groups with similar durability.

By strategically injecting PDRN under the eyes, we fill the volume lost by ageing – lightening dark circles, filling under eye hollows and even out wrinkles.

What does the procedure entail?

Before the procedure, our experienced therapists will apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area so that your treatment will be as comfortable as possible.

During the procedure, the PRDN treatment will be injected into your skin with a needle or cannula to ensure even distribution and reduce downtime as much as possible.

While downtime depends on the patient’s skin type, it is generally minimal. You might experience some redness and tiny bumps immediately after the treatment, but this should subside within an hour.

When are results visible?

While the skin rejuvenation process depends on your individual cellular turnover rate, most patients are able to see some improvement immediately after the first treatment.

While downtime depends on the patient’s skin type, it is generally minimal. You might experience some redness and tiny bumps immediately after the treatment, but this should subside within an hour.

The best results tend to be observed after 3-4 treatments, each of which should be spaced 3-4 weeks apart. The number of treatments required for optimal results vary from patient to patient. Some patients are happy with the results after a single treatment while others require a course. This will be determined by your Aestha Clinic practitioner during an initial consultation.
